It is often argued that modernisation and traditional culture. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.
A major reason is that protecting traditions can preserve identity and diversity. In practical terms, local festivals or crafts may still matter in modern life. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. not every tradition can or should be preserved unchanged. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.
For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. cultures should adapt while keeping their core meanings.
