Band 7 model answer

It is often argued that noise pollution in cities. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.

A major reason is that quieter streets and buildings improve health and concentration. In practical terms, better zoning and transport planning can reduce constant background noise. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.

Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. solutions may be expensive and hard to enforce. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.

For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. cities should regulate traffic, construction, and nightlife more carefully.
