It is often argued that tourism and local communities. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.
A major reason is that tourism creates jobs and brings income to local businesses. In practical terms, shops, hotels, and guides can all profit from visitors. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. overcrowding and rising prices may make life harder for residents. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.
For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. tourism should be managed to protect local quality of life.
