It is often argued that artificial intelligence and employment. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.
A major reason is that AI can create new industries, tools, and specialist roles. In practical terms, new jobs may appear in data handling, system supervision, and AI-assisted services. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. routine clerical and repetitive jobs may disappear faster than workers can adapt. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.
For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. governments should invest in retraining and transition support.
