It is often argued that working from home. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.
A major reason is that remote work can save commuting time and improve flexibility. In practical terms, employees may use the saved time for rest, family, or focused tasks. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. communication can become slower and team culture may weaken. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.
For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. companies should use hybrid systems with clear expectations.
