It is often argued that online tracking and privacy. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.
A major reason is that tracking can make digital services faster and more personalised. In practical terms, shopping apps and maps often work better when they know user preferences. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. too much data collection can expose people to manipulation and abuse. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.
For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. privacy rules should limit data collection and improve transparency.
