Band 7 model answer

It is often argued that expensive housing. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.

A major reason is that better supply and planning could make housing more affordable. In practical terms, new homes and transport links may reduce pressure on city centres. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.

Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. public intervention may be slow or politically difficult. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.

For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. governments should increase supply and regulate speculation.
