It is often argued that aging populations. Although there are understandable reasons why some people support it, I believe that it is useful only if the downsides are limited.
A major reason is that older people can remain active and contribute experience. In practical terms, they may work longer, mentor younger workers, or support communities. This can lead to better outcomes for individuals and society. In addition, it can also create broader social benefits.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be ignored. pension and healthcare systems may face heavy pressure. Another concern is that it can also place new pressure on people and institutions. These problems may reduce the value of the policy or behaviour if no safeguards are provided.
For these reasons, I would argue that the best answer is a balanced one. governments should plan for pensions, healthcare, and flexible work.
